We spent almost more than 4 months on our Project Management class. I believe that I learned a lot in this class. First of all, I like to tell that, I had never used MS Project 2013 as an IT student, but while this class, I knew that how to use and utilize Microsoft Project in project work. Even I like to work as a team. In the first chapter, we learned that how project management is important and nowadays, there are many jobs available for project management. We also saw the statistics about job and the money organizations are putting for their projects. Also learned about the advantages of formal project management.

I found that this site is really useful to share all the resources for the project management. It also offers certification for project management. I also found that as a PMI member, we will gain exclusive knowledge and access to their publications. Also, using all templates, articles, guide and other resources, we can get updated or informed and remain efficient. They also have live events, seminars, which can be helpful to share knowledge and support ideas. I think in one of the chapter, we learned about organizational culture, which is a set of assumption, values and behaviors that characterize that function of an …show more content…
I think this is a process, which requires that all the aspect of project is coordinating in order. It involves to solve the issue and find out some alternative to make the project work going.
Also, while doing project, we utilize the chapter we learned for scope management. For our project, we decided all tasks before doing or starting the whole project work. After completion of certain task, we also had decided deliverables for it too. For the scope statement, I would say it includes the process involved what is included or not in project. Before we start our project, we decided scope for the project and worked according to that, which we didn’t know.
Another two chapter, I like and it was interesting to me for time and cost management. We learned using Microsoft Project 2013 about the project timeline and cost management. Also, we know about over allocation of task and resources. Also we can get information about cost of task and for the whole project. Moreover, we can manage and identify cost and schedule changes in the project management. Also, I found the chapter helpful to determine the initial budget, project schedule, and for monitoring cost and schedule
