Aspect 1: Grade: 15 points Comment: The essay noted the conflict, which was trying to provide an internal service, and then being pulled into providing service to external sources. The effect of this conflict was that the system developed could not handle volume. However, it is not known who the “other systems” are. It also failed to explain why a “band aid” solution was proposed. It also failed to explain some of the technical terms.
Aspect 2: Grade: 10 Comment: The author presented the Root Cause Analysis tool. The writer did explicitly define the five steps for the process. It appears that the essayist focused in a logical manner to address the prompt, which made it simple to analyze. The main weakness was in the details. It seemed that the writer did not consider the fact that some of her or his audience lacks expertise in project management.

Aspect 1: Grade: 15 points Comment: In reading this, it is unclear who the people who enabled the conflict to occur were. It also failed to note why the general population did not rise up to fight the corruption. Yet, it did include some background detail to support understanding the problem’s history.
Aspect 2: Grade: 15 Comment: Clearly writing out every step, the author answered every question in the process with sufficient detail. Although some responses were short, they did fully address the intent of the analysis process. However, a few areas might have been more thorough.
Aspect 3: Grade: 7 Comment: Since it was over 700 words, but under 800 words, a 7 point score seems appropriate. Additionally, there were a few grammatical mistakes, such as sentence fragments. Yet, for the most part, it was clearly
