Much like today, people have struggled over what parties to join; Democratic or Republican, but in 1792 The Democratic-Republican and The Federalist where the two main parties. Each having its respective owner's, Alexander Hamilton runs The Federalists, and Thomas Jefferson runs the Democratic-Republicans. So, for presidency by any means the better choice would be The Federalist Party, because of their great ties with other foreign countries, also there view on how the government should be run, and to prove all of this, what they have done to advance the nation as a whole.
The Federalists wanted a loose interpretation, but as some may argue that having a loose interpretation of the constitution would lead into some possessing people too much power. So, one of the many things Federalists have done to recreate the United States is improve the system of interpreting the constitution to prevent too much power going into one person. After seceding from Great Britain the Federalist wanted to remodel their version of Parliament from a more Democratic standpoint. This all had happened during the Revolutionary War. Instead of having a king or queen The Federalist would have kept it so, that there would be a three different branches, but still one main ruler.
