In the vast plains of Montana, full of grass as green and bright as an emerald with a few drops of dew after a rainy day, with rolling hills that go on farther than the eye can see and an infinite clear baby blue sky above it all, there was a little red barn. It was old and rustic, completely different from the other cheery and bright cottages in the tiny town of Wicksdale. It’s paint peeled off the walls a little bit more every day. It creaked and groaned with the gusting winds that accompanied the hill it sat on. Nobody ever approached the Johnson barn. Everyone in town was terrified of it. The barn was best known for it’s eerie occurrences, such as when three teenagers were dared to go inside and never returned, just like the town sheriff …show more content…
Nobody knew anything (or better yet, wanted to know anything) about the little family on the hill. Nobody knew anything except for all the poor, traumatized animals inside the farm. They’ve seen things that could make one's hair stand on end. And boy, has Pig #4 seen it all. Pig #4 has been there longer than any of the other animals, and he definitely wishes he hasn’t. He’s been there through sunshine and snowdrift, and he doesn’t even have a …show more content…
The argument between Mr. and Mrs. Johnson had gotten so intense that Mr. Johnson ripped her beloved pearl necklace right off. The white beads clattered to the floor. Mrs. Johnson looked at her husband, then back at the beads, then at her husband again. She looked him dead in the eyes, a deranged yet distant look on her face, then slowly, she took the kitchen knife she was going to use for dinner that day, and stabbed her husband right in the heart. Her husband fell down, lifeless. Mrs. Johnson fell onto her knees and sobbed for the loss of her necklace, holding the shiny white beads in her hands. A wave of sadness and anger overcame her and she knew just what to do with her husband, and Pig #4 was afraid he knew as well. She dragged her husband’s body to the kitchen, where she cut him up into square pieces (leaving the gross parts out, of course) and baked his flesh in the oven for a scrumptious dinner prepared for her and her children in

Throughout our performance, we used the technique ‘body as prop’ successfully to convey the structure of two of the three little pig’s houses. There was a contrast in the two houses due to the differentiated shape and tension. To convey the building of the house, synchronised movement was used to show the shape develop. To show that I was acting as my character my face was in neutral; this showed the audience the diversity between my character and the usage of body prop. I also feel that we developed the piece affectively around the stimulus of a “political interpretation of ‘the Three Little Pigs’ “.…
