citizens should not risk their lives by traveling to treat Ebola patients. Since the Ebola outbreak, Africa has lost millions of dollars due to lack or tourism. By sending health officials, many patients will have a higher chance to live. Instead, when health officials return back to their country, they will be at high risk of spreading Ebola, due to the high risk of contracting by infected patients. The virus is causing thousands of people to become infected: According to the World Health Organization, "There has been 14,646 confirmed cases of Ebola", (qtd. in Everyday Health). The spreading of Ebola terrifies the nation, making people not want to travel to West Africa. The general public would want to help aid Africa, because they do not want their-self or their family members to contract the virus. The United States needs to aid West Africa to stop the spread of Ebola and cure infected patients. The United States needs to help West Africa because it could mutate into multiple diseases and Africa is an abundant place to be captivated by
