1. Some students have a background, identity, interest, or talent that is so meaningful they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story. When I look back at my life, it amazes me how one thing can have such an impact on my life, and I couldn’t be happier for it. I’m so grateful that my dad passed down his passion to me. I really couldn’t imagine all the enjoyment I would of missed out on without it. I don’t know where I would be if I decided to devote my time and energy to something else, but all I know is I have no regrets. It may seem surprising, but I have learned so much, and it has shaped my character and work ethic. Another area that I believe it has impacted me is my creativity, especially when you have very little time to make a decision. All I can say is, I wouldn’t choose anything else to do growing up over playing hockey. Being apart of winning the Wisconsin State Tournament as a 10th grade, and playing for Marshall know, there is nothing like it. 2. The lessons we take from failure can be fundamental to later success. Recount an incident or time when you experienced failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience?
Coming into my first year at marshall as a junior, I have had the great experience of always achieve A’s in all of my classes by the end of the semester. I never thought too much of it being a hardworking kid, and never settling for satisfactory. Although,…
