Ever since I was a little girl living in Ecuador, the one big main event that I knew WAS going to happen in my life was my Quinceanera. That 's all my family members (mostly my aunts) talked about. They were already planning on what food was going to be served, what type of music they were going to play, who was going to be invited, everything! I was only five years old! I was so young I had no idea how much time and effort went into throwing a Quinceanera. Up until my Quinceanera, my family and I attended other Quinceaneras. They were all very extravagant and fancy. The first thing my parents always asked the family throwing the party was “how much did you pay for all of this?”, the answer always shocked my parents. Since I was little they always told me that we had money but we didn’t at the same time, of course since I was five years old I didn’t quite understand what they meant. Throughout my entire elementary school years I was the most spoiled child in the family; from my aunts, uncles, older cousins, grandmother, and especially my step-dad. Everyone loved giving me whatever I wanted. How I wish things were like that now that I’m seventeen years old! Once I reached middle school everything changed! I got a new little sister and brother, so my step-dad wasn’t spoiling me as much. Everyone loves babies so, of course, my aunts, uncles, and older cousins stopped spoiling me and started spoiling my brother and sister. What…
