Summer of 2016, my family and I made a trip to Puerto Peñasco, Mexico. The city of Puerto Peñasco, also known as Rocky Point is located on the Gulf of California. It's known for its beautiful scenery and dune-backed sandy beach. Tons of people around the world come to Rocky Point every year to unwind and have a good time. There are several reasons why Puerto Peñasco was such a memorable trip.
On our long eight hour drive to Puerto Peñasco, we made approximately four stops. First, we stopped in Las Cruces, New Mexico to refill the gas tank. The second stop was Phoenix, Arizona; where my family and I grabbed a quick bite at the In-N-Out Burger and put in gas. For the last three days of our vacation, we went out to the dunes and went four wheeling. My family and I rented two quads and headed out to the dunes. A quad is a four wheeled motorcycle that runs fast on land. The loud thundering noises from the quad terrified me. When I got on the quad, I could feel my body shaking and going numb. I could feel the rush of adrenaline running through my veins as I stepped on the gas. After all the excitement, I was so thrilled that I got to drive a quad without dying. On the seventh day, we packed our bags and headed back to El Paso, Texas.
Overall, Puerto Peñasco is such a beautiful city and a great place to unwind and have a great time. Personally, Puerto Peñasco, Mexico was a thrilling and beautiful experience. From the beautiful ocean sights to the thrilling four wheeled quad, this trip was a memorable one. Over the years I've been to several beautiful places, but Puerto Peñasco beats them all. The reason is that, I love the beach and being outside enjoying life and breathing the fresh
