What is a hero exactly? Is it someone that dresses up in a costume and saves the city? Or is it someone that we just simply look up to and admire? Maybe it’s just someone that loves you for you and cares about your happiness. To me, a hero is someone that no matter what life throws at them they can take it on, someone that will always put others first whether it’s helping them with simple life problems or giving your life in order for them to live, and someone that is not scared to engage in a heroic act. My hero is my mother. Now as the same as any teenager/mom relationship we have our disagreements, but along with every disagreement, I realize just a little bit more how much of a hero my mom really is. Whether it’s a football game that lasts for hours a very high set goal of mine, she is there. My mom has taught me that I can do anything I set my mind to. The inspiration she has given me makes me want to go far and be very successful in life.
I believe that in order to be a hero you have to able to look up to them in certain aspects in your life and follow their guidelines to live up to their expectations. I can genuinely say that my mother has been my hero my whole life. Throughout my sixteen years of life, my mom has helped me with many tough times. Without my mother I wouldn’t be the appreciative and respectful person I am today.
Even though my mother has set high expectations for me, I hope that one day I will be able to fulfill every single one of them. With everything that we have been through together, my moms beyond the best and nobody will ever be able to compare to that. I hope that when I have kids I can be an outstanding parent to them as my mother has been to
