There have been many times in my life when people have tried to teach me their way as the only way to do a project and not be open minded. Then moving into a management role, providing direction to my team to continue to give customers excellent support, guidance, and knowledge to the rest of campus.…

For example; • From my staff – they have a very good working knowledge of the care sector and often make suggestions on how things can work better with ways in which we look after our service users. Suggestions on what did not work for them and how we can help make their lives more fulfilled • CQC – They visit our establishment for their checks and they can advise how we can improve our service. Not because we are necessarily doing something wrong but because they can advise on a better way. • From customers family and friends – These are the people that know the customers the best and although we as an organisation may do things one way they can advise that this may work a different way for their loved ones.…

I learned that I should do some basic back research on the companies that interested me that were going to be at the upcoming career fair. I learned to have a few questions prepared to ask each recruiter and I learned to prepare a little speech about myself that focuses on what I can bring to a company. The main thing I learned however is to just be confident. Sounding and acting confident is important when talking to a recruiter from a company. When project groups work together or they hang it near a common area as a reminder, you could construct a checklist or outline for the goals of the group. In order to market this idea to new companies you’d have to first establish their need for direction among their employees and a need for better styles of leadership among those holding management or leadership positions. Marketing this idea to companies and offering to teach them everything they would need to know about it and then assisting them with practicing the points shouldn’t be difficult because most companies have similar weakness like this, especially when it comes to projects. Path Goal theory will help many companies and management teams because it is simple, easy to learn, and doesn’t cost much to begin…

We could train them to give them a set of skills to be able to handle the job at hand, but at the same time we have to develop their leadership skills so they will know how to handle the changing environment. To train someone to do what we do is great at that time and moment, but when a change happens, we want to be sure that the person is will equip to make decisions that will benefit everybody.
