Remedies for Panic Attacks Unfortunately for people who are suffering from a panic attack, the remedies for panic attacks are usually used just to reduce the symptoms that you're experiencing. Many people have gone to the hospital suffering from a panic attack thinking that they were dealing with a heart attack. Exercising regularly, limiting caffeine and alcohol, and changing your thinking pattern are all things that you can do to decrease the severity of a panic attack. Luckily, in the same what that motherwort can be used as an herb for anxiety, it can also be used as a natural remedy for panic attacks. Drinking a tincture of motherwort or enjoying some drops of it during a panic attack can lessen the extent of the attack. By relaxing the nervous system and elevating the mood, motherwort is effective in stopping a panic attack. Motherwort also fights some of the physical symptoms of a panic attack, such as high blood pressure. Fast heart palpitations, a rapid heartbeat, and high blood pressure can all be affected by this …show more content…
It's always best to exercise precaution when using motherwort as an herbal remedy for anxiety or stress. Consuming too much of this herb can result in some side effects, such as an irritated stomach leading to diarrhea or an allergic reaction. Other people have reported skin rashes or a sensitivity to the sun that causes problems when they spend a lot of time outside. Of course, there are safe and recommended doses, and the likelihood of having an adverse side effect if you adhere to those is slim. People who overdose on this herb or don't take precautions while using it are more likely to suffer from side effects. There have been rare cases of people who have experienced contact dermatitis when the motherwort comes in contact with their skin. Always be careful when using a new medicine, even if it is a natural herb
