Definition:
a condition of extreme worrying about many things for little to no reason. The person is very anxious about getting through the day and thinks situations will always go bad. Such worrying enables a person to complete everyday tasks. Also known as GAD.
Causes:

• Stress and environmental factors
• Worrying excessively for at least 6 months

• Gender- women are said to be affected more than men
