The men begin to plan their battle strategies, and this is where the audience is allowed a glimpse into the minds of the combatants. Brutus and Cassius continuously fight and are not organised in the least sense. Throughout the entirety of the play, the two could only agree on one thing. That Caesar meant the end of Rome and had to be destroyed. Afterwards, with no enemy to fight, the two turned on one another. Brutus considering Cassius “to have an itching palm” (act 4.11-14) and Cassius considering Brutus to be a bully. This is a stark contrast to Antony and Octavius, who strategically plan with one another. Antony being the person who inquired after Octavius , and Octavius proving to be a worthy adversary to Antony in uniting the plebeians and planning the future of Rome. Whilst some still choose to ignore the issue, statistics show that “In 2014, women working full time in the United States typically were paid just 79 percent of what men were paid, gap of 21 percent” (Hill, Catherine). This amount amasses very quickly and grows as one progresses in a field. Over a lifetime, men will earn over $30,000 more than a women. This number will soon increase, as women’s wages continually decrease whilst men’s increase. Since the year 2000, “men’s wages have rose 8.1% whilst women’s wages have fallen 6.8%” (Paquette, Danielle.). This leads to men earning $9,000 more dollars than women annually. This unfair system only further distances the genders and promotes the thought that women are inferior to men. This system is ludicrous as equal work, education, work output, job titles, and work expectation should warrant equal pay. Many declare that the idea that women earn less due to their gender is ludicrous, yet this was disproven as in a 2012 study “ [A] science faculty from research-intensive universities assessed fake résumés from male and female candidates for a laboratory manager position. Though the fictional students’ qualifications were identical, the faculty members routinely ranked the men as more qualified for the job.” (Paquette, Danielle.). Many different factors weigh
