The most obese countries in the world are not necessarily the richest or most developed. In fact, the smaller countries such as Naura, Marshall Islands, Kuwait, Samoa, Palau have made it to the top 10. According to World Health Organization, food scarcity and food price increasing have connation with obesity in underdeveloped countries such as Venezuela, where the people difficult to have healthy diet and lost the eating balances. Therefore, the high calories and fried food become very popular for them.
The obesity problem is one of the largest health problems in America. Adult obesity rates have doubled since 1980, the childhood obesity rates have more than tripled. More than 30 diseases are now related to weight gain and these diseases have caused a lot of strain in the American healthcare system. And there are many American people pay lots of money in weight-related illnesses. Generally, nutritionists and doctors classify people as either “underweight, healthy weight, overweight, or obese”, (publichealth.org, 2016). At the moment, there are no definite answers to the reason for the increasing weight problem in the U.S. Even though there are many scientific studies and conclusions about obesity, people still believe that too little exercise and too much food are the major causes for obesity.
