Because I understand the field of nursing may be difficult, I also understand the pay and benefits that come with the difficult work. I believe it is well worth it. When starting as a nurse, the average salary begins at $46,000 a year. After gaining a few years of experience, one may be able to earn a salary over $96,000 a year. Nurses can also work nights or during the holidays with the possibility of earning at least $25.00 to $40.00 per hour at double time or time in a half. Nurses with advance practice degrees and experience will have the best employment opportunities.
In reviewing my San Jac GPS, I will be in school for at least 4 to 5 years due to my work schedule.
