Type 1 diabetes is part of my family, my sister and my son are diabetics. It was fascinating to learn more about the process and individuals involved in the progress and development of insulin. Daily use of insulin is needed to sustain life, but it is such a part of their daily routine, you don’t even stop to think about it. The insulin injection process has evolved; the needle size has changed dramatically over the years. I remember my sister having to change her injection spot due to scar tissue because of the size of the needle. Now, daily injections are now done with a pump that monitors, regulates the injections and the amount of insulin given.
The two organization are similar in their strategies and actions. As well as, their focus on employees, striving to protect the environment, eliminate corruption, their value supply chains and have goals to make a difference. On the other hand they are vastly different in what products they offer and contrast in the number of employee and how many countries they operate
