Our bodies have over a trillion neurons that control our bodies nervous system. The Dendrite receives massages from other neurons, and the Axon carries the messages the Dendrites receive. The synapse is the space where two neurons Axon and Dendrite receive and carry messages also known as Neurotransmitters. Our nervous system is divided into two different systems the Central nervous system and the Peripheral nervous system. The central nervous system controls our reflexes and is mainly located in our spinal cord, and the Peripheral nervous systems helps us control our everyday movement. An example of when the Central Nervous system comes into play is when we touch something hot our body knows to move it away so we won’t get burned. I completed
