My Life And My Family Essay

Each individual is different when determining who they are and what they are going to do in their lives. Some at their adolescence may have an idea on what they want in life and others may have no idea of who they are, much less what they are going to do with their lives. My personal story may resemble those individuals who seem confused to know who they are and go on exploring different things in order to discover who they are and what they want to do in life.
When I was born, I weighed 6 pounds and measured 19 inches. I have no recollection of what I looked like as an infant, but as per my mother, I was a healthy newborn. I was raised in a loving family; both of my parents were present in my life and I also had a two year older brother. The social environment I was always surrounded consisted of church related. My whole family was very dedicated to church, all friends of the family were from church and all the events my family attended were church related. Through my infancy and early childhood, my grandmother took care of my brother and me while my parents worked. My grandmother was the one who experienced my first baby steps, as well as my first words, which were around my 12 month of age. Most of the time I was surrounded with other children, but only when I was in church. I did not experienced being at a day care nor being enrolled in a head start program, which is the reason why school was a new and strange stage in my life. Elementary school started when I was…
