My Grandmother Research Paper

“You’re my new grandma,” uttered by an innocent five year old child to her already smiling grandmother. At a very young age, my grandmother and I had a bond. Not exactly the type of connection that a child has with their own grandmother or grandfather, but I had a very special type of bond with my own grandmother. She is a very sweet lady who takes in her children and grandchildren whenever they needed something or someone. My grandmother is my calming ocean and vice versa. My grandmother was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, on a placid little farm. She grew up in a brick house with five or seven other siblings. It was a very crowded house. She starts crying because she thinks she’s failed at raising him. Sometimes, this happens while I am there with my sisters. While Helen, my sister, goes to retrieve another adult, I stay there with my grandmother, making sure she is okay and trying to get her to stop crying. Usually it works because I know how to get her to smile. Once she stops crying though, I usually keep my eye on her for a while because I am not so sure if she will be okay for that amount of time. I am very protective over my grandmother since she is the only one to ever believe in me, not give me lecture when I have done something wrong, and always listened to my side of the story whenever something bad happens. She knows me better than most of my other family members. Truthfully, I miss my grandmother. She is like the perfect chocolate chip cookie that you do not want to eat. She is like the North Star that guided the three wise men to baby Jesus. She is my chocolate chip cookie. She is my North Star. Nobody or anybody can replace my grandmother because she is one in a million. My grandmother is a special person and I do not want anyone taking our connection away from us. She is the only reason why I have not gone completely insane from everything that has happened in my life. I love her and she loves me. Nothing can tear us
