When thinking about what makes me who I am today, I thought of a few major milestones and topics from class that all play a huge part in the person that I have become. I like to think of myself as someone who loves people and just strives to be the best psychologist that I have always dreamed of becoming. I am now someone who is very independent, compassionate, and empathetic with the outside world along with dealing with some internal turmoils, and because of that I am constantly working hard on the things that hold me back in life so I can be the best woman that I want to be. This is due to some of the things that I have had to deal with such as the divorce of my parents at a very young age, the death of a very loved relative, and many other things. Some of the other topics that I have dealt with besides death, is my relationships with family and friends, stress management, my values, fears, hopes, and dreams, and then the struggle of becoming the woman that I want to be. To start out with one of the major things for who I am today, I would have to say my parents divorcing has a lot to do with who I am. I come across as a very happy and carefree person, but I am constantly under stress because of my high expectations and my stubbornness to never fail and never let anybody tell me again that I am a disappointment.
