The film industries have provided a popular cultural tool in the making of movies as creditable historical sources. However, historians should consider the accuracy of historical facts provided in these films. Careful analysis of the actual events should be researched, as film producers tend to add an air of sensationalism or a second storyline to their movies. Popular cultural tools such as movies have changed the storyline of the fight between the whites and the Native Americans. The similarities between the Na’vi and the Native American are transparent. The Na’vi are a peaceful tribe that lives with nature and worships a nature deity. They are slow to fight or retaliate against the white people from Earth who come to their planet to rape their lands for their profitable mineral. The storyline evolves much like the movie Dances With Wolves, as the white man befriends the tribe, learns their ways of life and fights against the evils of his own people. The movie ends with the typical Hollywood expected “feel good” version where the white people are transferred from the planet and the Na’vi tribe
