Introduction
How can someone open and share their private personal problems with someone they do not know at all? A stranger coming into your inner world and knowing most of your thoughts and feelings about a certain behavior. We as human beings during this day in age have trouble with being open with foreigners. Having our privacy is almost needed one hundred percent of the time. For most, sharing very personal ideas, thought or plans with someone in a room where they are assessing your words and actions can be intimidating for some. As for myself, finding someone to talk to helps more than I have perceived it to be. It clears my thoughts and creates better plans to be implemented in the future.

My total major reflections were three. After realizing that there was only three key major reflection stated in the interview, made me understand on what I need to work on. Always constantly giving a back brief before I move on into another topic or question. An example that I used was “From what you're saying, that later you're not gonna be getting as much sleep because of your hours, 'cause of work…”. The overall purpose of incorporating that specific reflection was to verify my immediate feedback and the accuracy of my listening. It is important that the client knew I was listening to what he said for quality assurance and reliability. As for sustain talk only one time, as it was in the past when he first started to try to alter his sleep behavior. I was impressed with myself on how I kept my client on change talk. I suppose it is based off the clients position and confidence to acquire change talk. To attain even more change talk, I could ask to make a list of more possible solutions to the hindrance that is keeping my client up at night. All things considered I am glad the whole interview went well and my client could open up to me and was able to connect with me.
Interviewee to Interviewer Talk Ratio The exact number of words spoken by the interviewee was five hundred eighteen words in full. As for myself as the interviewer, the total number of words I spoke was two hundred seventy-three words. The ratio for interviewee to interviewer dialogue is 74 to 39. As to trying to reach the applied ratio of 60 to 40, I was sufficiently close to the respective ratio. Perhaps I had my client speak a little too much. As above with the low amount of reflections, that could definitely bring it closer to the correct ratio as a goal.
