However, according to Fukuyama, humans have one special thing that no other animal possesses and it is that one thing that makes a human human “Factor X is the human essence, the most basic meaning of what it is to be human” (Fukuyama, p. 186). To him, a human has the ability to be diplomatic "human beings can formulate, debate, and modify abstract rules of justice" (Fukuyama, p. 188). He is basically saying that one becomes human when he or she is capable to reason and make tactful decisions and choices based on a set of beliefs. If one does not have these capabilities, one is not a human being. Beside Factor X, many other characteristics exist in human but not in programs. Brian Christian makes a discussion about the differences between form and content which relates to the evolution of science and human ethics. In Christian’s opinion, form is the visual proof and physical appearance, while content has to do with personal continuity or information that we keep confidential. Some people will stay with their old habits especially elders. Some choose not to learn and adapt to understand our new technology age whether they are avoiding its negative effects or they find it too complex. Although some of them choose to accept it, technology will not influence them as negatively as it does on us because we, the younger ones, use it way more than they ever will. The ones that choose to use it help the spread of cosmopolitanism more effectively. They socialize with others face to face and with the use of technology. On the other hand, the ones that reject technology aren’t any less human than others. It is their choice, their opinion, their life. They have the right to choose whichever option they prefer. In other words, unborn, infants, elderly people, and disabled are not are not characterized as human specificity. I strongly disagree with his point of view. In my opinion, everyone is equal, they may not be the same for the reason that "they could differ in intelligence, wealth, race, and gender" (Fukuyama, p.187). People do not choose to be born with disabilities or financial issues. I believe that everyone should be treated equally the same regardless of their
