The social force of living during the Holocaust would affect me because I would not agree and resist what the Nazis were doing. Since I am Caucasian with no disabilities, not homosexual, and most importantly non Jewish, I wouldn’t have been a victim of racism and the Nazis wouldn’t have come after me. However, I would not go along with what they are doing by murdering the Jews, homosexuals, and disabled people. Everything that was happening in Germany would affect my individual behavior. I probably would not stand up and do something about it because I would be afraid of getting killed myself. Something so devastating and horrible as the Holocaust will be in mind and life forever. I wouldn’t have been subjected to any persecution but I might be caught up in that ideology in racism and prejudice. As much as I would try to resist, I may potentially be made the victim because if I didn’t agree with the Nazis, I might be put into a concentration camp or even worse killed. My behavior, attitude, life choices and many other societal things are shaped by social forces. My school environment affects my life positively because I am getting an education and communicate with others at school that has a positive attitude about school too. Another social force is technology like my cell phone, computer, Ipad, and many other technologies. Other social forces are media, laws, etc. However, social forces affecting my parents and grandparents are a little different. They are married living in their own home and have children which influences their actions. They go to work and see the same people, their coworkers, every day. Technology doesn’t seem to influence them as much as it does me. I grew up in the generation of technology and they didn’t. They also tend to be socially inactive with friends and only visit family. No matter what age generation you will always be under social pressure based on what the society says or society
