What is “Machiavelli's Leadership”? From Machiavelli's perspective, he believes that success of leader from their power and force. A successful ruler needs to be feared rather than hated. While the impacts may seem positive at first, there are more subtle long term effects which are not immediately visible. In the past, most companies were managed in an authoritarian way. However, nowadays, things are really changing. People are beginning to explore better ways to lead a team and a company. I think a lot of people believe that a democratic way might work better. Which do you think is better, to have “one man rule” or to have rule by everybody? When we have ‘one man rule’, we might fell that our opinions and ideas are not respected as all. However, it is also hard to listen to everyone’s opinion because people usually think differently, even in the same group. Definitely, If the decisions are concerning the workers. it might be good to hear their voice. The managers do not have to listen to every employee’s option because it is impossible to please everyone, but they should know the options os employees.
