Being ambitious is the best quality we have and can encourage us to experience the different aspects of life. In the future, I wish to be successful. My dad is the only one in my family who has a job, and he works really hard to make money. At school, I try to get good grades and take part in extracurricular activities, so I can get accepted into a good college and eventually get a well-paying job. I just want to make him proud, so he’s not as stressed and doesn’t have to worry as much about supporting the family. My ambition helps myself and my family, but to accomplish my goals, I need determination to push through any difficulties. I’m also a person who wants to live a healthy lifestyle, so I go to the gym and try healthy eating. It started when I stopped taking ballet classes, and the only sport I participated in was cross country. Because cross country was only in the fall, I didn’t have any motivation to go running after the season ended. Every time I tried to push myself to go, I got lazy and said I would go another time, but that really didn’t happen. I realized I was gaining weight because I wasn’t eating healthy and exercising. Last October I started to scroll through athlete’s Instagrams and decided I wanted to pursue a healthy lifestyle. I looked up videos on YouTube and did research about healthy eating.
