“Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses.”- Ann Landers. What does love means to you? Many people today use love as just a word but do not understand the true meaning of love. Merriam Webster defines love as the attraction that includes sexual desire or the strong affection felt by people who have a romantic relationship. My definition of love illustrate that feeling that you get when you truly care for someone and it does not have to be a person that you want to marry. Love’s inherent three qualities that I believe are truly amazing. Love encourage a complete acceptance. It does not matter about the gender or race it is the feeling that you get that you are equal to me. Love is completely unconditional no matter what. When we truly love someone we will find a way to forgive them no matter. Holding grudges defeat love slowly and painfully. Love is selfless. We have to put others first to understand what love exemplify. To begin with, Romeo and Juliet arguably could be the most famous love story in English literacy. The play focuses on romantic love, especially on Romeo and Juliet. Love in the story is not some pretty, idealized emotion.
