Register to read the introduction… He had a very optimistic and relaxed view on the situation and he wanted the people to know that. Lou was not going to let this disease make him wallow in sadness for the rest of his short life. He wants the people to know of his gratitude, toward the fans and the individuals mentioned. He also wanted the people to walk away feeling like they should not wallow in their own sadness, but be grateful and hopeful. His purpose was more along the lines of letting them know that things are not so bad and that he has lived a good life with good people. He is the luckiest man on earth and we all have things to be grateful
