Literature History From ' Romanticism ' And ' The ' Of ' Modernism '

As there was significant historic flow in literature history from ‘Romanticism’ to
‘Modernism’, variety of writers are shown that they share same similarities and vice versa dissonances. From Kant, whom was not actually a writer in the ‘Romanticism’, influenced writers’ conceptual awareness of writing, such as ‘commercial art’, also building specific criteria of literature authenticity. Furthermore, ‘Romanticism’ created blocks between commercial art, and so-called high culture art addressing emotions of commercial art is ‘barbaric’; ‘Anti-commercial’ and ‘Commercial’. In this evolutionary circumstances, not all the writers share same ideas.
‘Modernism’ follows after this conflictive ‘Romanticism’, which is very defensive of tradition. ‘Modernism’ writers used strong strategy called ‘allusion’, which makes difficulty and internalization about art that leads to inference classical literature. Writers such as Baudelaire came out writing the definition of modern art first time. ‘Modernism’ artists wanted to remove art from real life. Also, in this era, not all the writers shared the same idea. In this brief essay, I will point out the commons and differences of some writers in ‘Romanticism; Kant and Coleridge’ and ‘Modernism; Baudelaire’. In addition I will address about Lautréamont’s tactic that reverses feminist cast, dating from Kant declaring ‘barbaric’ any emotional response to art.
