They are well educated and well trained individuals from foreign countries, are innovative and effective. Wide range performers causes increase business versatility, help organizations to quickly react to change in requirements, motivate expertise. Labor efficiency increases as organizations adapt to larger investment in workers. However, empirical studies reveal that rapid opening of markets on the domestic frontier is likely to yield inscrutable displacement of unskilled labor. Douglas Massey, an economist is equally of the opinion that a bifurcating market for labor creates a demand for unskilled labor for immigrants in that natives may find certain jobs undesirable regardless of the wages (Massey, 2007). The status of an ‘asylum seeker’ is used to refer to the situation in which a person immigrates with a view to escaping war or repression or political conflicts in his or her own country. A good example of such a mass escape from hostile regimes is the case of Syria. A number of Syrians have since been offered asylum from Al Assad repressive regime ever since the conflict ensued. However, the Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees outlaws the act of penalty imposition on refugees for their illicit entry by contracting states. The Convention is only applicable if the refugees’ cross borders as a result of a direct threat into their freedoms or lives. War and asylum motivated immigrations was rampant during the Arab spring that rocked Tunisia, Egypt and some countries in the Arab World. It has also been evidenced in Colombia and El Salvador.
