He wakes up at the crack of dawn, lives with the awful stresses of trade, and deals with a horrible boss, obnoxious and overbearing. He continues this way for years, every day being the same. No sick days, no breaks, nothing. All for the well-being of his family. He didn’t want this job. On page 5, he describes it. “If I didn’t hold back for my parents’ sake, I would’ve quit ages ago.” He only does it because his parents’ owe the boss money. And this is just one example of him showing how much he cares about them. He sacrifices his own happiness just so he can financially support them. He plans to spend his hard-earned money, not on himself, but on his sister, so she can go to music school. Yet his parents’ never show any gratitude.
