Stable marriages not only create happier couples, but happier and healthier children. Children that are raised in households with stable families are more likely to be healthier socially and emotionally (Wilcox and Dew 2012:10). This is important for society as a whole, because these children are less likely to have issues later that society will have to be responsible for.
