At what point is it murder or inhumane? At what point do the internal reproductive organs of a woman become the governments “property”? So is abortion right or wrong? Are incest, rape, and possible fatality to the mother compromises when abortion is deemed as “okay”? Are there really any at all? There are so many questions that we must look at on both sides to better understand this topic, but yet thorough approach. As you could assume, there are a number of people that do not like the idea of abortion. These people refer to themselves as “pro-life advocates”, which essentially mean they advocate for the babies life over the woman who is deciding on what to do. Groups such as National Right to Life Committee and Americans United for Life are a few examples that reinforce pro-life campaign. Partial-birth abortions, which are now banned, are very controversial because they consist of a doctor terminating the fetus from the womb by sucking the brains out. Third trimester abortions are also controversial because they are an induced abortion procedure, which yet again includes a fetus, opposed to an embryo. The morning after pill is controversial because it yet again brings up the “playing God” concept (Early Abortion Options).
