Interactionism is a theory that is based on social communication, as it promotes the idea that nothing in society is determined and that people can break free from the label as an individual. Interactionism is also known as symbolic interactionism. Two of the main key workers for interactionism is Mead who was born in 1962 and the other main key worker was Bulmer, who was born in 1962, they both participate at the same university, which is in Chicago. It looks and states at how individuals and groups interact with each other and how they can produce social changes by their actions. For example they wouldn’t be concerned about how there health care system is involved in society instead they would be more concerned about the relationship between patients and doctors.
