In each scene, actors had their own space, moreover, it could able to observe their actions clearly because each actor is being unblocked by another actor nor furniture, upstage, or downstage to another actor. In the play, there is certain moment had good movements, and certain moment needs more movements. In the production, Brielle’s had various amounts of hand gesture movements. Thus, with countless of hand gesture movements, I felt she might be anxious about the performance. In the first scene with Dr. Givings, Mrs. Daldry, and Nurse Annie, I believe could have more movements for Nurse Annie. In this particular scene, Nurse Annie was sitting the upstage bench while Dr. Givings operating the machine on Mrs. Daldry. In my opinion, I would add some movement for Nurse Annie such as look at some medical documents, or stand next to Mrs. Daldry trying to comfort her because she was frightened of the machine. In the scene of Leo Irving touches Mrs. Givings, her movement was well motivated. In this particular scene, Mrs. Givings movement was motivated because Leo Irving touches her face while Dr. Givings enters the living room, therefore, Mrs. Givings took a few steps backward. With this motivated movement, Mrs. Givings trying convincing her husband Dr. Givings, there is nothing going on between Leo Irving and her.
