Travel and tourism is an important economic activity in most countries around the world. Indonesia is one of the world’s most remarkable geographical areas where the various natural and cultural resources offer major tourism attractions. Basically, the Southeast Asian Country of Indonesia consists of more than 17,000 tropical and volcanic islands that straddle the equator between the Indian and pacific oceans. Indonesia is a home to more than 300 ethnic groups with approximately 500 spoken languages and dialects. Indonesia is well known with a unique culture, natural beaches, beautiful scenery and also great shopping centre which make Indonesia as one of the Southeast Asia’s most attractive destinations. As mention earlier, Jakarta is the capital city of the Republic of Indonesia and it is composed of more than 13,000 islands with population of over 180 million. Usually, foreign visitor that visit Jakarta are not just for travel but also for business related visitors. According to Wall (1998), approximately international travellers that visit Jakarta however many of those tourist are mainly on business. Jakarta is famous with more political and business oriented city rather than a destination for tourism and leisure. But at the same time, some of the international travellers who came to Jakarta usually went to enjoy luxurious city life where Jakarta provides many great shopping malls, bars, luxury restaurants and best service hotels. Even though Jakarta is one of the metropolitan areas; Jakarta also offers some of the historical tourism. For instance, Taman Ismail Marzuki Art Centre, Jakarta 1945 Museum, Keong Mas, Sunda Kelapa Harbour, National Museum, Ancient Inscription Museum and Jakarta History Museum. All of the historical tourism is able to attract lot of international travellers to visit
