All these views are important in how it affects the laws surrounding euthanasia and whether it will be legalised. Family members and friends of the terminally ill patient’s views are part of the public and aid in the decision of the outcome. They do not want to see their loved one suffer or be in pain, they want to help give their loved one a choice in how they die, some family members will agree and some will disagree and see their loved one peaceful. Patients/terminally ill patient’s views are that they get a choice in their death, they will die with dignity, some patients support the cause and are fighting for the legalisation to be approved while some patients strongly disagree and are fighting against it. Some patients disagree with euthanasia due to religious beliefs, the possibility of surviving the illness, it’s only legal in a few places so they have doubts. Physicians/doctors have to determine if patients need it and if they are in the right mind. Politian’s decision of whether it is the right decision for the state/country. They have an interest in protecting and preserving life which could delay the possibility of legalisation.
