. Aquaculture experiences an annual growth of 10 percent surpassing beef production in the year 2010. The important features in aquaculture include where, how and the tonnage of fish produced. The industrialized nations produce 80% meat, but fish takes place six times faster in developing countries (FAO 26). Fish is an inexpensive, nutritious animal protein and is a contributing factor towards raising nutritional standards, food security and poverty alleviating in low-income countries. Where the demand is high, the shrimp and fish aquaculture will continue to expand. Salmon, as a portion of food that is expected to have a major decline in production due to ecological changes.

Destruction of Mangrove
Aquaculture has been under serious scrutiny due to environmental and wild species impacts. The dramatic expansion of aquaculture in some cases causes environmental issues and conflicts due to the limited resources. Despite the myriad benefits received from aquaculture fields there are various challenges that can occur in respect to the expansion and growth of aquaculture. A major problem identified by the environmental activists is the loss of mangrove forest (Bell and Pratoomyot 33). The mangrove forests are important in the coastal ecosystem, and their demise is extremely expensive.
