If an immigrant has chosen to come to America they have a certain amount of time to become a citizen of the United States. The border is supposed to reduce illegal immigrants and not keep allowing immigrants to stay in America without a United States citizenship. Minorities should feel privileged to come to the United States, they are getting away from their problems in their home country and coming to a country that is free and more privileged. However, some might take advantage of America and think they do not have to obey the laws here in America.
Supporters of Donald Trump are more negative about illegal immigrants and free trade agreements (Donald J. Trump, 2016). The requirements to obtain legal citizenship should be more strict, if the requirements are not met, the individual should be sent back to their country of origin as stated in Donald Trump’s plan for immigration. Trump wants to reduce the size of illegal immigrants and not increase the immigration rate. Donald Trump 's plan for deporting illegal immigrants is not going as he had planned. On August 9th, 2014, Michael Brown and his friend Dorian Johnson were walking in the middle of the street when they were approached by a police officer by the name of Darren Wilson. With there being altered stories explaining what happened next rather than choosing one side of the story we can agree that an altercation occurred and it led to the unfortunate death of eighteen year old Michael Brown. Because of the differing stories and videos online, I will not focus on whether I feel like the killing of Michael Brown was justified, but whether the process to indict/or not to indict Officer Darren Wilson was justified and not flawed. Beginning as soon as you read the table of contents of the DOJ report on the Ferguson Police Department…

The 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals disagreed with both the District and eventually the Supreme Court. I have a dissenting opinion with the majority with the Supreme Court.…

Trump wants people to come into our country, he wants to bring people in but all he wants is to be able to do it legally.…

After looking at both parties positions, I can say I am not surprised by the stances they have taken on the issue represented. For the democrat stances, many of their ideas favoured equality and calling for progress and change on many prominent issues. Such as how Democrats called for "policies and investments in order to keep America's public lands public". On the opposite side of this issue, the Republicans stated that that "our air and waterways are much healthier than they were a few decades ago". This stance from the Republicans shows how their more conservative and traditional views correlate to these stances on the topics.…

However, one article presents itself better than the rest. I believe that the article “Soda’s a Problem, but...” was the most convincing article. It takes a minimum of 5 years to be a citizen, not even including the time it takes to get a green card. Mr. Trump says he plans to shorten the path to citizenship, but has not clarified how he plans to do that. He uses this point to remedy some of his more hardline rhetoric on immigration.…

Despite United States Surgeon General David Satcher issuing a report in 2001 stating that there is no valid scientific evidence that sexual orientation can be modified or changed with medical or psychological intervention, Mike Pence has involved himself in supporting efforts that seem to be linked to conversion, or “reparative,” therapy. Fighting conversion therapy is nothing new to the LGBTQ+ community. Since the early Freudian period, many have attempted to change sexual orientations to fit hegemonic standards of the corresponding…
