Chris Mintz, a 30 year old military veteran, was shot 7 times by a shooter in Oregon’s Umpqua Community College on October 1, 2015. He is known as an American hero for stepping up and thinking of others rather than himself. He had a six year old son, whose birthday happened to be on that same day, and he decided to try and stop a shooter and risk his own life to save the lives of others. His reaction would be to throw something at the shooter to cause a distraction and try to get everyone while keeping the shooter occupied. However, he can’t keep the shooter occupied long enough to get everyone out because the shooter is able to fire a shot at Superego. He misses the first time but Superego isn’t so lucky the second time. While everyone is still not out of the sight of the shooter, Superego is shot in the leg. Injured but motivated he moves quickly, trying to free the gun from the shooter. In the process he is shot multiple times and fails to get the gun from the shooter. But just as he falls, the police arrive and are able to stop the shooter. Luckily, no one besides Superego was shot and although he is severely injured, he is going to be
