That was just one conflict out of many to come. Another conflict in the book involves the idea of man vs. self. This idea involves the struggle between Huck and himself, in the entire book Huck tries to find who he really is and what is his purpose is in life. He is a rebel and a commoner who believes in having fun in life. man. This involves both Huck and Jim. Huck doesn’t quite trust Jim in the beginning due to his previous actions. This is basically involving the saying “never judge a book by its cover.” Huck contemplates whether to turn Jim or keep him under wrap. Huck doesn’t know whether it’s the right thing to do. At the end Huck discovers that Jim is not so bad after all, and that he just got a bad title for his name. Huck and Jim become good friends after that and really discover they just
