The books is written by Mary Shelley and it’s started by how the captain (Robert Walton) is bounded for the North Pole, and he sends his sister letter back to England and tells her about his dangerous mission. He encounters Victor who is the protagonist and tells them about a monster that he has created. Victor describes his life in Geneva at the age of five that his parents wanted a daughter, so one day while they were walking through the roads they saw an orphanage- like house and one girl caught Victor’s mothers eyes had been fixed on one of the little girls and his mother had adopted his sister Elizabeth Lavenza. Victor enters the university and studies philosophy. Victor had spent months studying and until he figured that he had found the secret of life. Then one day he created a monster that he …show more content…
Victor was scared the possibility of the new creation would do, so Victor destroys his new creation and the monster vows revenge. At night Victor takes a boat and goes to the middle of the lake and dumps the new creation in the water. When he returns to the surface he is arrested for murder of his own friend Henry, Victor denies that he did not murder Henry and sees the monsters scratches on his neck. After leaving prison he returns to Geneva and marries Elizabeth. Victor fears that the monster warning about him coming to his wedding night, Victor sends Elizabeth away to wait and hears Elizabeth screaming and knows that the monster killed his bride. Victor after the murder gathers around with his family to see his wife slayed bride and vows for the rest of his life to find the monster for revenge. Victor tracks that the monster has went north into the ice. In a sled chase Victor almost catches up with the monster but the ice breaks that separates them. Victor dies on the way finding the monster and the monster finds out and starts weeping over his creator and goes far north to kill
