Google was founded by Larry Page and Serge Brin in 1998. Since then, Google has transformed into a widely known search website. But has adapted itself to its customers and what they wanted. When Google was first created it was just a place to look up anything and now it is used for many types of things. It still is mainly used for searching something, but they have added many new features throughout the years. Throughout this paper I will talk about these new features and how they were adapted to the customers. I will also talk about advertising and business relationships with Google. And lastly, I will state whether Google is considered “tax free.”

Larry Page, their co-founder and CEO, once described the “perfect search engine” as something that “understands exactly what you mean and gives you back exactly what you want.” Since he spoke those words Google has grown to offer products beyond search, but the spirit of what he said remains. With all their technologies—from search to Chrome to Gmail—their goal is to make it as easy as possible for users to find the information they need and get the things they need to do done. This means making search smarter and faster, so it can understand that when you type [jaguar] you’re looking for the car, not photos of the animal. This also means making their products work better so that people can spend time on the stuff they’re good at—like enjoying time with family, camping in the wilderness, painting a picture or throwing a party.…
