In order to look more in depth at the correlation between globalization and precarious work, this paper aims to answer the question of how precarious workers can organize to improve their working conditions through the use of outlets such as unions and worker centres. Using the framework of case studies from a North American movement and a Mexican program, the effect of globalization on vulnerable workers will be considered by studying the relationship between working conditions and employer profitability.
