Getting all 3 parties together was not easy because Stalin did not want to leave leave his country, he did not trust flying on planes, and Roosevelt was physically disabled and could not travel. Although prime minister Churchill was an avid traveller, it was a challenge for all of them to get together. A meeting was needed urgently and they finally agreed on meeting in Tehran, Iran.
The conference was set to start at four in the afternoon on 28th of November. Stalin was the first to get there, and Roosevelt was brought to Tehran in a wheelchair with poor health.
