This revolution is between Napoleon and the French versus Great Britain and King George III. Napoleon plays a major part in this war because he needs to win this to show the people his ability and to gain the needed territory. While the war goes on, King George III is trying to get the colonies in North America set up so he is fighting two battles at once. During this war, Napoleon takes total control of the government and hows its layed out. As a effect of Napoleon taking total control of the government, the French Revolution comes to an end. While Napoleon wasn't focused on either wars in progress or his own government, he was always planning ahead for the next battle or war. While Napoleon was building up his army to the highest point possible, English Reinforcements came in and lowered his army to just above 10,000 men. When Napoleon came in contact with the opponent, one of the frontal guards would take the best position possible. While these guards were distracting, new fresh troops all stocked on ammo and fresh lungs came in and were ready. These new troops try to flank the opponents. Behind the new bodies were large artillery items like mortars and cannons. They did the work that took out the other team by the group. While all was happening, men were running in trying to do one job; take out as many men as possible. Flanking was one of Napoleon’s favorite tactics because as he once said “By attacking in the flank, an army of 30,000 men might defeat an army of 100,000 men.” Rather than thinking quality over quantity, he thought differ. Napoleon would feel better and be better if he more men rather than men with a very high intelligence for tactics. This is one of Napoleon’s tactics that helped him win numerous wars and that will be inherited by other countries.
During the Revolution, Napoleon tried to live off the land he knew best. That why guerilla warfare works the best. Guerilla Warfare is the best type because you know the best high points and which valleys are easy to corner. Plus you know where the most resources and other materials are to use. In this case, Napoleon used guerilla warfare against the people from Russia know that they didn't know the land that well. It was best used for this occasion
