The man was pushy, yet acted as if he was so in love with jig, and acted like he didn’t care if she had the abortion like he wanted it. Jig on the other hand, was more laid back. She wanted time to think about her options instead of making a rash decision. In my opinion about the setting is that it fits the story absolutely perfectly.
