In today’s modern society can you really afford to take big risks with your body? For instance, you wouldn’t intentionally go skydiving knowing that your parachute isn’t going to open. So why would you put something that you know is harmful for you into your system. The surprising thing is that the harmful substance is processed foods, and it’s consumed on a global scale with none the wiser. In the following paragraphs the problem will be clear and simple; there will also be a better/healthier alternative to the harmful processed foods. I will provide some basic knowledge about processed foods that might prove to be helpful throughout the reading. My claim for this paper is: For a healthy and natural diet the only option to take is all natural foods, opposed to processed foods. When it comes to what we are putting into our body I think it is very important to make the right decision. Processed food is by definition, anything that isn’t its original chemical make-up, which is to say that things have been added or taken away for flavor or texture purposes. Many foods are considered processed: fatty foods, fast food and junk food are the main categories you can find processed foods in. the alternative I mentioned earlier is whole foods, foods that don’t have a bunch of added ingredients like sugars and salts.
