Mordred should then follow the will of Merlin, approving missions which they suggest, regardless of the characters, and appearing to be a clueless generic good. Once Merlin’s trust is gained, it is likely that they will advocate in favor of the hidden Mordred, placing them on missions, approving their suggested missions, and siding with them on opinions of other players. Mordred counts on his evil counterparts for at least one or two fails. Leaving the killshot all up to him, which if played well should be very easy to do. For this Mordred would have to hide for the majority of the game and emerge at the end with the final blow. Even if Mordred can only count on one fail to come from his partners, he can still possibly make it onto two missions and fail them, especially if the mission is a larger one, which leaves more room for speculation on the other participants of that mission. Should Mordred be found out early in the game, through suspicious evil behavior he should try to relapse on the initial goal and try to discover merlin to be able to succeed in the assassination.The only reason Mordred will fail a mission is if the fail order demands him to. Mordred will stay hidden and appear good as long as possible leaving his fails for the final missions of the game. So evil needs to have the consensus early on in the game that Mordred needs to stay hidden, and that if they cannot do anything else, they at least hide him to the best of their ability to be able to keep him on missions, thus ensuring a few more
