Macduff has the respect of most and he is a loyal man to his family and country. If you were to pick someone to rule a kingdom it would wise to choose Macduff. Throughout the story Macduff is the only genuine character in the play. “ O horror, horror, horror! Tongue nor heart cannot conceive nor name thee” (2.3.65-66). Here Macduff displays the grief he is going through when he finds King Duncan’s body. Macduff had so much respect and affection for the King that he is willing to go on a search to find the killer. “ He has no children. All my pretty ones? Did you say all? O hell-kite” (4.3.16-17).
